As regards the minerality, the often underrated GG Site Kieselberg is just as excellent as the more well-known sites in Forst. Fresh white peach with herbal notes, crisp acidity, very straight.

Soil:
Packed with large proportion of red sandstone pebbles that were washed up by the Rhine over 1,000 years ago and left on the plateau of what is known today as Kieselberg. On this calm ridge, the alternating wind and sun ensure healthy perfectly ripened grapes, even with a late harvest.
