On the nose, the typical Kieselberg aromas are a little more ripe than usual. More Braeburn than Granny Smith apple and more red than white peach. Delicate on the palate, but above all lively minerality with well-balanced acidity.

Soil:
Packed with large proportion of red sandstone pebbles that were washed up by the Rhine over 1,000 years ago and left on the plateau of what is known today as Kieselberg. On this calm ridge, the alternating wind and sun ensure healthy perfectly ripened grapes, even with a late harvest.
