Racy Forster Riesling meets subtle wood notes. The 2024 Freundstück has a rather sparse nose, with some yellow exotic notes of mango and pineapple and stony spice, which will certainly become much more expressive with a few years of aging. On the palate, the crisp acidity initially hits the ground running, but is wonderfully captured and rounded off by delicate roasted and vanilla notes.

Soil:
Red sandstone is paired with some limestone boulders and a hint of basalt on the surface. The smallest of the Forst sites is located directly on the edge of town between Kirchenstück and Ungeheuer.
