Freundstück (the smallest of the Forst sites) is directly adjacent to the much more well-known Kirchenstück, has a first-class soil and is a „grand cru“ in every respect. The 2022 vintage presents itself with pronounced yellow exoticism, harmoniously integrated wood, a hint of roasted aromas and lots of basalt minerality - classic Forst.

Soil:
Red sandstone is paired with some limestone boulders and a hint of basalt on the surface. The smallest of the Forst sites is located directly on the edge of town between Kirchenstück and Ungeheuer.
