2022 Deidesheimer Riesling dry

While we declare this wine as a village wine, the grapes come from the VDP. Erste Lage and Grosser Lage vineyards - the Deidesheimer Kieslberg and the Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker.

A classic Riesling of the Mittelhaardt with the typical fruit expression, which arises only on Buntsandstein: citrus, stone fruits and fine herbal flavors. Taut and fresh acidity. Perfect representative of the terrois and the origin of the grapes.

Village wine must be made from grapes that come from a single village. The wine then carries the name of the village in whose area it is produced. As a traditional Deidesheim winery, it is of course important for us to fly the flag of our homeland. As the largest private owner of vineyards in Forst, we have naturally pressed village Riesling from Forst grapes as well. Both village wines come from 100% classified VDP.
