2021 Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker Riesling dry

In the 2021 vintage, the Herrgottsacker shows its more elegant side: herbal and floral with a hint of white peach underneath. On the palate, it unfolds a fine mineral melt that perfectly combines extract and acidity. Complex structure and yet pleasantly round.
Soil:

Only the best plots of Herrgottsacker are selected for our VDP.Erste Lage. In a 2005 planted fillet piece we harvest the grapes significantly yield-reduced. The soil is clearly marked by variegated sandstone and loess, occasionally there are limestone veins - good drainage.
