2021 Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten Riesling dry
Regular price €21,00A Riesling that could have come from Burgundy. Citrus and apricot, light toasty aromas and some brioche make you think of a great Chardonnay. On the palate, dense melting and lots of freshness, the lively acidity on the finish makes it clear that it is a Riesling is in the glass. A great wine with enormous aging potential.
Soil:
On 120-170 meter Paradiesgarten is stretched in south-east direction right over Deidesheim. Its weathered soils of red and yellow variegated sandstone are the reason for the fineness and balance of the wines. Our plot Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten is located below the site Deidesheimer Langenmorgen and belongs to the site Langenmorgen until 1971. For this reason the Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten was classified as a VDP.Grosses Gewächs until vintage 2012.
We have decided to end this special position and market the wine now as a VDP.Erste Lage. The Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten was the first single site wine from „Reichsrat von Buhl“, which we launched only in the second year
after harvest.
