In the Bavarian site classification of 1828, Forster Jesuitengarten was rated the second highest. The most nuanced Riesling in this year‘s collection. Citrus aromas, a hint of exotic, and a touch of spice create an invigorating interplay of flavors, which continues on the palate with its exciting intensity. No less powerful than a Pechstein, but on a fruitier level. An elegant vanilla finish rounds off the Riesling beautifully.

Soil:
Jesuitengarten differs from Kirchenstück only by a slightly higher concentration of basalt. The more exposed vineyard allows cool air to pass through on warm summer evenings helping to keep the acidity in the grapes more pronounced than in Kirchenstück.
