2012 Von Buhl Dornfelder - Dry

An elegant and lively Dornfelder with a fascinating structure and a color shines in intense purple. The nose reveals fruity notes of blackberries, elderberries and tobacco followed by a light balsamic notes hinting at the maturity of this wine. On the palate, its gentle power unfolds with dark very fruit. Subtle acidity and superbly integrated trains give this wine a framework for years to come.

For the MANUFACTURED LINE, we use grapes from winemaker friends and process them as our own. After all, the name Reichsrat von Buhl stands for uncompromising top quality in ALL of our wines. For the sake of simplicity, we market all our varietal wines (even when made largely from our own grapes) under the manufactured label.
