2020 Forster Riesling - Dry

Our most vivacious Riesling, mostly from the VDP. Grossen Lagen Ungeheuer, Pechstein and Jesuitengarten. Representing bright Forster spices and fresh citrus fruit, this wine is packed of true character; uncompromisingly dry with a distinctive acidic punch.

Village wine must be made from grapes that come from a single village. The wine then carries the name of the village in whose area it is produced. As a traditional Deidesheim winery, it is of course important for us to fly the flag of our homeland. As the largest private owner of vineyards in Forst, we have naturally press village Riesling from Forst grapes as well. Both village wines come from 100% classified VDP Erste Lage (first class) and VDP Grosse Lage (highest class) vineyards.
